It’s a MAGA, MAGA, MAGA World

And the rest of us are stuck in their absurd, dangerous farce.

It’s a MAGA, MAGA, MAGA world out there – and no, you’re not hallucinating.

That is, in fact, a congressman quoting the Bible while trying to ban drag shows. That is a state legislature giving guns more rights than women. And yes, that is a Supreme Court justice caught accepting luxury vacations from a billionaire with a wishlist of court rulings.

In the slapstick chaos of “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad World”, people raced around for buried treasure, falling all over themselves in the process. In today’s MAGA version, the treasure is unchecked power, and the casualties aren’t just pratfalls... they’re real people, real rights, and real lives.

The MAGA Madness Is the Point

Let’s stop pretending this is normal.

The MAGA movement is not a political ideology, it’s a performance.
A loud, petty, cruel, and unrelenting theater of the absurd.
And like any good farce, it thrives on exaggeration.
Except this time, the joke’s on democracy.

They’ve turned school board meetings into culture war battlegrounds.
They’ve weaponized religion to criminalize healthcare.
They’ve made sure a teenage rape victim has fewer rights than a semi-automatic rifle.

And while they claim to be “defending America,” what they’re actually doing is defacing it – graffiti-tagging the Constitution with a red hat and rewriting the national anthem in the key of bitterness.

Seriously, What Are We Even Doing?

It’s a MAGA, MAGA, MAGA world where:
- A book is more dangerous than an AR-15.
- A trans kid is more threatening than a corrupt politician.
- A rainbow flag gets banned before a Confederate one.

These folks don’t want liberty and justice for all, they want liberty and power for themselves, and everyone else better fall in line or get out of the way.

And the worst part? They’re proud of it.
They’re proud of the cruelty.
They brag about the book bans.
They cheer when people lose access to healthcare, food assistance, and the right to bodily autonomy.

This isn’t patriotism.
It’s performative persecution.
It’s cosplay authoritarianism with a side of evangelical exceptionalism.
And it’s poisoning every level of public life.

The Harm Isn’t Hypothetical

This MAGA madness isn’t just political, it’s personal.

It’s your neighbor forced to travel out of state for cancer treatment because her abortion was delayed by bad legislation.

It’s your kid’s teacher quitting because they’re not allowed to teach history that actually happened.

It’s your gay nephew watching politicians debate whether his existence is “appropriate for children.”

This isn’t conservative policy.
It’s chaos in khakis.
It’s fascism wrapped in a flag and dipped in Bible verses they haven’t read since Sunday School.

But Here’s the Twist: We're Not Powerless

Yes, it’s a MAGA, MAGA, MAGA world right now... but it doesn’t have to stay that way.

We can choose sanity.
We can choose compassion.
We can choose leaders who understand the Constitution wasn’t meant to be a blunt weapon for white Christian nationalism.

We can vote like it matters, because it does.
We can organize, we can resist, and we can flip the damn script.

Because while they’re out here building an empire of fear, we’ve got something stronger:
Love that refuses to back down.
Compassion that doesn’t need permission.
And justice that won’t be silenced.

So yeah, it’s a MAGA, MAGA, MAGA world.

But we’ve seen this movie before.

And spoiler alert: the ones chasing power always end up looking like fools while the ones standing for justice change the world.
